Lead Magnet set up

What they needed: My client had created a lead magnet that she wanted to use as an incentive to sign up to her mailing list. Whilst she had created the lead magnet she hadn’t had the time or skills to set up the sign up and create a series of automated emails to follow the sign ups.

What I did: The client had Mailerlite for her email system and her website was built in Wix. Using her lead magnet and text copy I used the tools she had to set up her lead magnet sign up and email automations. 

In Mailerlite I set up a sign up form and an automated email sequence which shared the lead magnet and a series of 5 emails spread over a week. I made sure that the emails looked clear and followed the client brands colors and fonts. I ensured that the sign up form was correctly embedded on to the clients homepage and that the image looked inviting with a mockup of the lead magnet I had created. I also created images to be used to advertise the lead magnet. 

The client is very good at networking and I wanted to ensure she could easily share her sign up so I also created a webpage solely for the sign up using the form which she could direct people straight to. 


How it helped: The client had spent time creating the lead magnet but it was sitting unused due to time and skill constraints. Having it active meant that she has increased sign ups to her mailing list leading to more potential leads that she can communicate with growing her business. It lifted the ‘I should…’ mindset that she was carrying around by not having completed the task and gave her more head space for creative tasks.
